| Details: | I received a phone call from the operator of this water system. They were notified by their water lab that the most recent routine sample was positive for total coliform. The sample was collected by someone who had not sampled before. I sent a sampling best practices handout via email. We reviewed the coliform sampling plan for the system and the firm promised to take 3 repeat samples from distribution and a triggered source sample ASAP. We also discussed the monthly routine sampling schedule appears to have reached it's 12th month in June. We discussed the opportunity to return to quarterly sampling. During our call on the 12th of July, the June sample has still not posted to Drinking Water Data Online. The operator intends to call their lab immediately. |
