| Details: | I sent Sarah and e-mail with the following information and hyperlinks: 198520 Y Jun 01, 2024 Jun 30, 2024 EP-A LCR Corrosion Control Late/Nonreporting – This is due to the required monthly Ph and Phosphate report not being submitted In June 2024. There is no way to verify the lead and copper corrosion control is being maintained without these reports. 198519 Y Jan 01, 2024 Jun 30, 2024 DIST-A LCR Late/Nonreporting – The school is on a six month sampling schedule because the above mentioned reports were not submitted on time in 2023. This violation is for not submitting the required six month lead/copper sample by June 30 this year. • Each public water system has a dedicated page called Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS). Kalesh Weaver at 541-535-3890 left me a voicemail saying he was no longer managing the water system. He stated someone would notify the OHA of the new person in charge. • The water system must have someone trained to operate the system. There is no one designated. You can see that information here: • Training classes are available the Oregon Association of Water Utilities (OAWU). It appears that all classes are full at this time. When more classes become available you can find the schedules here: Sarah called my office and we had an MS Teams meeting to discuss the situation. She connected me with the new operator Sam Watson. I have an appointment on Monday 8/19 to do a walk through of the system with Sam and review SDWIS. They have a board member who taken SWOTC but is not listed as the DRC. We discussed the DRC application process. |
