| Details: | I spoke again with Carol Hurley to discuss that when the water returns, Gramada Terrace's system will be on a Boil Water Notice until a water sample from distribution tests negative for total coliform, and then the Boil Notice may be lifted. We discussed that there may be a leak in the distribution system, and that the State of Oregon's Drinking Water Services (DWS) has a Circuit Rider Program that can help with leak detection steps and remediation measures; I provided Carol the program's phone number. I also contacted Columbia County Emergency Services, and Oregon DWS for communication on this matter. Gramada Terrace did not have an email address associated with the water system, so I stopped by the system's location and placed around 15 Boil Water Notice template pages in their mailbox, as well as information pertaining to Oregon DWS's Financial Assistance program for water systems. |
