Details: | I emailed Alex and Natasha and let them know there is an alert for arsenic (0.014) that was received today. The water system is above the RAA for arsenic and needs to provide an adequate treatment plant or new source of water to comply. I asked him to please contact us tomorrow to explain their plans to come into compliance. 2/5/19 Hello Alisa, I am flowing up on my phone call to Greg DeBlase this morning. We will take the following action to mitigate the elevated levels of arsenic at the Dunn Ct water system: 1.Distribute the required public notice. (see attached) 2.Flush treatment system 3.Run regeneration cycle on resin filter 4.Begin the process installing activated carbon dechlorination system (Greg to check conditional approval [see attached] from April 29, 2015 to see if any submittals will be required) 5.WCHS to continue its engineering and permitting process with the City of Woodburn for connection to city water. Please contact me with any questions or comments you may have. Thank you, Alex Labunsky |
