| Details: | On the morning of 9/12/24, Roger Hurley with Gramada Terrace called me and said that the well is back up now and has been supplying folks with water for two days now however the storage tanks are not quite full. Roger claims that someone tried to pressure wash their house which he believes likely drained the water supply, and he does not believe this case is due to one or more leaks. Roger says Gramada Terrace has 2 underground water storage tanks that are 1500 gallons each, as well as a pressure tank that is 375 gallons. Roger mentioned that he added bleach to the system at the wellhead to disinfect it after the water pressure loss. I mentioned that a water sample from distribution is to be collected, and once that sample tests negative for total coliform bacteria, the Boil Notice may be lifted. Roger says that he has distributed the Boil Water notices to all users of the system's water, and will look into the Financial Assistance program offered by Oregon DWS to assist with water system matters. |
