| Details: | Thujee received a violation postcard although their latest DBP results (Feb 2018) were fine. I explained that DBP violations are based on the running annual averages. Belloni Ranch had submitted results 3 of the previous 4 quarters, so the average this time was based on only 3 sets of results. The HAA5 average is now 0.061, just over the MCL of 0.060. The Feb results were significantly lower. It will be interesting to see whether their actions this winter were enough to prevent the DBP levels from rising in late summer and fall when there are more organics in the water. Thujee will look for the public notice he distributed in December 2017 and edit it as appropriate. I asked for a copy of the completed notice. I also emailed him the DBP data for their system from our Data Online website. | ||
