Details: | 10/14: I spoke with the operator regarding the lead & copper exceedances (.02216 mg/l & .01974 mg/l). A circuit rider request has been initiated for the system to outline steps for treatment. Grants Pass Lab is closed on Monday and the sampling site was not listed on SDWIS. The operator will be contacting the lab about what sampling site had exceedances. + 10/24: Civil West contacted me about information on this system. ++ 10/30: Civil West followed up with me again. I told them that the operator is fairly new and needs help with public education, sampling assistance, and corrosion control recommendations. +++ 11/1: A professional pump company emailed me about the lead exceedances and what needs to be done. I emailed the requirements to the pump company and the operator. ++++ 11/7: I emailed the operator again about the lead education public notice and that it is needed to be distributed to residents immediately and a copy to me. +++++ 11/29: I emailed the operator again about the compliance deadlines and that if these actions are not taken they could result in enforcement actions. ++++++ 12/3: I called the operator and left a voicemail about the upcoming compliance deadlines again and to respond to my emails or phone calls. +++++++ 12/6: The operator called me to talk about compliance schedule progress. They will be collecting WQPs on Monday and completing the lead public education notice. Recent heavy weather at properties managed by the operator in North California led to delays with this compliance schedule. |
