| Details: | Contacted Lisa Grigg regarding alerts for lead and copper. The Cold Springs Water system has exceeded the lead action level of 0.015 mg/L and copper action level of 1.3 mg/L. Exceedances were as follows: copper 1.97 MG/L and lead .0236 MG/L. I let her know that they will be receiving a letter from OHA-DWS detailing standard deadlines associated with this exceedance. I stated to expect this letter within the next 2 weeks. Upcoming required actions will include: distributing a lead public education brochure and bill statement to all customers (template resources will be provided), collecting/reporting two rounds of WQP in DIST, collecting/reporting lead and copper samples from the entry point and identifying/submitting plans for selected corrosion control.
