Reasons: Coliform
 
Details: Curt informed me that the riser in the storage tank for the City of Barlow had deteriorated to the point that water was short circuiting to the outflow. The upper portion of the tank was then able to warm and allow bacterial growth. After the riser was repaired on May 14, 2024, there were no more positive coliform detections during the warm months. Residual maintenance equipment is available and ready for installation if more coliform investigations are triggered. Replacement of the reservoir is planned when funding is available.
