| Details: | TC positive on 10.30.2024 11.07.24-Operator informed me that RP sample results came back absent of bacterial contamination. Only the TG sample came back positive for TC. Due to the recent TC positive, the system will now be on quarterly coliform sampling. Corrective actions: The system is considering draining the reservoir, cleaning the silt and shocking the reservoir in the spring of 2025. The operator was advised to follow shock chlorination procedures. 11.04.2024-Operator reported that RPs and TG will be collected 11.06.24. The operator was reminded that corrective actions must be taken after RPs have been collected. 11.01.2024-I emailed the operator reminding her that that with the recent water sample lab result that tested positive for Total Coliforms, the next step is to collect: -One sample at the wellhead prior to any treatment. Label this sample as a Triggered sample (TG). -One sample at the same location (Laundry Room), or a nearby location. This sample must be labeled as a Repeat sample (RP). The operator was also reminded that per our rules, routine monitoring will return to quarterly now that coliform bacteria was detected in one of the RT samples. After eight consecutive quarterly samples, routine monitoring may be reduced back to once per year. Rule reference OAR 333-061-0100(2)(c)(E). |
