| Details: | Bob Strehl called questioning a letter from the state noting the lack of a nitrate test for 2024. The conversation moved next to Bob wondering why he needed to do quarterly coliform samples when he was told he only needed to do them once a year. I told Bob that the letter he received in 2021 stipulated 8 consecutive quarters of ND coliform samples before he could transition to yearly coliform sampling. I also explained that the nitrate sampling could be reduced to once every three years AFTER three years of <=5mg/L nitrate results. Mr. Strehl eventually realized that there have been missing quarters of coliform testing, and that there were no nitrate tests for 2021 or 2022. Mr. Strehl said he would complete nitrate and coliform tests prior to 12.31.24, and would take similar samples in January of 2025. |
