| Details: | On 11/6, a site visit was made for a water system survey and also evaluate for possible coliform sampling reduction. There were no source deficiencies noted and a monitoring request was submitting reducing the coliform sampling from monthly to quarterly. (The increased monitoring schedule was implemented after some missed samples). The water system had turned in their Nov monthly coliform sample that morning to the lab. This sample came back positive for total coliform. Three repeat samples and 2 triggered source samples were collected on 11/13. 4 of the 5 samples collected were also positive for total coliform. I recommended the system perform a low dose chlorine flush through the system. Three routine samples are needed in December. A Level 1 investigation may be triggered and a form would be sent to the system to fill out. |
