| Details: | I spoke to Justin regarding the recent nitrate exceedance. The current test result is 10.55 ppm. He was informed to submit a confirmation sample. He will attempt to do that today if the lab is open, if the lab is not open, it will be submitted on Monday 12/2/24. I received a notice from OHA technical regarding public notice requirements. The template was emailed to Justin. He was informed that this is a Tier 1 alert and the public notice must be issued in 24 hours. We also discussed the entry point sampling location. I asked for a copy of the completed template. There is a sink in the gift shop where samples are taken. I explained if a filter was present the sample must be taken without the filter. We discussed system classification. I will be making a site visit in the next few weeks. |
