| Details: | The water system collected 2 samples (one in the distribution and one from the well) after completing corrective action (shock chlorination of the well and distribution). The well sample was positive for E. coli. The boil advisory remains active and the water system will need to connect to a new approved source, reconstruct the existing well, or drill a new well. Jon said they are pursing either connecting to the City of Salem or drilling a new well. I put Jon in touch with OHA DWS for plan review requirements if they decide to drill a new well. | ||
