| Details: | I conducted a site visit to discuss the nitrate exceedance and water system classification. We discussed the water system being in the Southern Willamette Valley Groundwater Management Area. We reviewed treatment options to remediate the nitrate exceedance. We reviewed daily populations of staff and guests. It was determined the system should be classified as a Transient Non- Community System. They provide black coffee and have public restrooms with sink access to water. A PN notice has been posted and I asked that coffee be discontinued until remediation is in place. Brad Daniels provided a compliance letter to the system. I e-mailed the letter to the operator and discussed population calculations that lead to reclassification, plan review and plan review cost. |
