| Details: | Dan called with questions about how to proceed after two recent samples were TC+ at his water system. I explained the process for completing the coliform investigation, including looking for defects like wellhead or reservoir problems, power outages, cross connection events, etc. We also discussed chlorinating the system once Dan verified there was no obvious entry point for contamination to enter the water system. I advised Dan to simply collect a routine monthly sample in early January after he completes any corrective action. | ||
