| Details: | Spoke with Eric Carlson with Rainbow Water District over the phone. Eric confirmed he was already aware of the two corrosion-control excursions on the 14th and 23rd of February (low P.H.). Eric stated that the suspected reason for these excursions was an air lock on the corrosion-control system for well 2, and that corrective maintenance is being done to prevent further excursions. Eric confirmed that the water supply from well 1 consistently has a high enough P.H. that it does not need a corrosion-control system at this time. I also informed Eric that the minimum water quality parameter for the Alkalinity on the most recent Corrosion Control Monitoring form had incorrectly been written as 68, when the requirement for this system is 63. The reason for this error is not known; it was probably a minor typo. |
