| Details: | I spoke with Dan over the phone regarding the recent Arsenic test results; Dan and the owner of the property where already aware of the issue. Dan stated that they are already working to replace the media in the Arsenic treatment system, and that they believe the problem will be corrected by tomorrow. Dan stated that the customers served by this system have been notified verbally at this point, and that he is aware of the health risks associated with Arsenic. Dan also confirmed that an additional Arsenic test will be taken after the Arsenic treatment system is fixed to confirm that Arsenic is within acceptable levels. A "Do Not Drink" advisory has been posted in SDWIS; it is recommended at this time that no one drinks water from this system until a confirmation test shows acceptable levels of Arsenic (Below .01ppm). |
