| Details: | Mailed Historic Hot Lake a letter stating the following: Subject: Violations Given To This Water System Dear Mr. Rysavy: The water system for Historic Hot Lake has been cited with two violations by the State of Oregon Drinking Water Program. The violations are as follow: 1. Violation 3429514 for not providing an annual 2024 Nitrate sample from the well 2. Violation 3429515 for not providing three temporary routine total coliform water samples in the month of January of 2025. Note: Whenever a water system on the quarterly total coliform (TCR) sampling schedule has a positive sample, you are to provide three repeat water samples and a source sample within seven days of being notified. In addition, you are to provide three additional temporary routine water samples in the following month of the positive water sample. How to return-to-compliance (RTC) these violations: • Nitrate: Provide a 2025 Nitrate sample. Please submit this sample as soon as reasonably possible. • Temporary Routine TCR Samples: By March 31, 2025 provide a routine TCR sample. Because of the Nitrate violation, you must provide a tier 3 public notice to the people this water system serves. I have enclosed a template copy of the tier 3 public notice. Please follow the instructions on the template.
