| Details: | I contacted the system to check the status of the uncorrected survey deficiency. The staff-member who answered the phone (Alan) stated that Tim Whalen still works for the facility, and that at least one maintenance staff has either completed their small water system operator training or is in-progress. I told Alan that if the training is in-progress I could possibly extend the deadline for correcting the deficiency, or that if they were certified they could forward that certification to the State to correct the deficiency. Alan stated that they would follow up tomorrow to clarify whether or not the system had a certified operator. UPDATE 2/26/2025: Maintenance staff (Jason) at Fiddlers left me a voicemail confirming that they had just taken the course/test to become a certified operator. Jason stated that test results would be known within a few weeks. I called back and left a voicemail offering to extend the deadline to correct the survey deficiency, and requested that the new certified operator forward their certificate when they get it. |
