| Details: | System on a compliance schedule to install corrosion control. Notification of installation was not received when installed, and WQP samples were not taken at the time of installation to take a baseline. Working with the State drinking water contact (Nicole) and the system to figure out why copper samples are coming back elevated. 1. We started dosing with Caustic soda in Spring of 2024. 2. The dosage fluctuates, but the final goal is to keep the finish water leaving the reservoir at a pH of 7.2-7.6. 3. Adam, could you provide Nicole with the pH data for last year? (June and December of 2024)? I apologize for not following up, I didn't know we had failed the lead and copper samples. I will work with Jessica to track down what is going on and we will plan to take some investigative samples in the coming weeks to make sure our process is actually working. |
