| Details: | Public water system Avion WC – Greater Avion (00091), serving approximately 32,000 residents in Deschutes County, issued a partial boil water advisory on 2/27/25 affecting approximately 100 residential connections near Knott Road in southern Bend, OR. The advisory was prompted by a water main leak that resulted in a loss of pressure and 750,000 to 1 million gallons of water spilled. Repairs were completed by 9 p.m. the day of the spill, water pressure has since been restored, and bacteriological samples have been collected. Results should be available within 3 days and the advisory will be lifted if results are acceptable. Update: The advisory was lifted on 3/1/2025. |
