| Details: | Curtis contacted me to see what steps (if any) they need to take to decommission the stripping tower. Lakewood has been treating it's water from SRC-AA with packed air to remove VOCs. VOCs are staying below the MCL in raw water. Bypassing the stripping tower would keep the PFAS chains from being broken into smaller chains (Per DEQ's recommendation). I contacted OHA DWS and verified plan review is not required to bypass or remove the stripping tower VOC treatment. Curtis said they will be moving forward with decommissioning the treatment and will contact our office when completed. | ||
