| Details: | I called Jon to get an update on the new well. He said there has been a setback. The new well is testing at 20ppb arsenic. Jon said they have 3 options to consider: 1. Installing and maintaining arsenic treatment, 2. Drilling the new well to a depth were high arsenic levels are not present, or 3. Connecting to the City of Salem. Jon said a decision would be made this week and he would get back to me. We also discussed issuing another boil notice with updated information. I emailed Jon a copy of the E. coli PN template and asked him to send me a copy of their completed notice. | ||
