Details: | On Wednesday March 12, the alarm on the water storage tank went off because it was below 30inches. At that time they realized the well was not working. Purswell pump came to fix the well on Wednesday. They closed the restaurant and deli service until the well was fixed. They said they chlorinated the well after turning it back on. Then they reopened the restaurant and deli Wednesday. On Thursday Luis Campos came mid day to take a water sample. He turned it into the KUO lab in Umatilla. Luis Campos was directed by Amy Word in Drinking Water Program to put them on a boil water notice in an email. On Thursday I was out on sick leave. Amy forwarded the email to me. On Friday, I went to Love's; the restaurant and deli were open. The manager was unaware of the boil water requirements. I informed him of the boil water requirements. The restaurant and deli were closed on Friday. The manager went and bought a pot to boil water on the grill, portable hand wash station. No ingredients use water in the restaurant and deli. They reopened on Saturday. On Monday March 17th the lab called Luis Campos that the sample was negative for coliforms and e.coli. |
