| Details: | I left a voicemail for the operator clarifying coliform sampling requirements for this system. As this is an OVS system, the coliform response requirements are different than an EPA-regulated system. The operator is only required to take one repeat sample from the distribution and one source sample. Even if the repeat and source sample are positive for coliform, that does not necessarily mean that further investigation and testing are required. I recommended that the operator inspect their Spring/Source and plumbing system, and in the voicemail instructed them to continue QUARTERLY coliform sampling. As the source is groundwater, they have QUARTERLY not monthly sampling requirements. UPDATE 3/19/2025: I spoke with the operator to confirm the aforementioned requirements and sent an email with relevant information. |
