| Details: | Informed Silas Olson of the need to re-construct the well. The installation of 4-log treatment at the current well is a temporary solution only and may not serve the population in the long term since the casing material is likely the cause of the contamination. Will work with him to establish a Corrective Action Plan. Contacted Silas again to try and establish a timeline. Received no response after my initial e-mail. Awaiting response 3/1/2019. 3/4/2019 Silas stated that they intend to contact well driller this week since they do not plan on installing 4 log inactivation on the current well if that will not be considered a long term solution. I sent him a copy of the well log for the current well in case they decide to re-drill the well instead of drilling a new one. |
