| Details: | I spoke to Reeher’s contactor (Jim Newton, Cascade Engineering) yesterday to get a status update. They will be doing pump test on a well that’s on the property, drilled recently, but capped off. They plan to get that done by June 1, to see if the well has enough capacity to hook in (main line is nearby). If the pump test determines the well is viable both with capacity and water quality, they will move forward to hooking into the system before July. UPDATE: 5/19/25: Phone call with Chris, Operator for Reeher's Homestead; she called Tillamook County asking for information on testing the well during the pump test. I called Chris and let her know to sample for bacteria, nitrate and arsenic. |
