| Details: | On May 27 Diana reported having decreased flow rate from the well to the storage tank. She stated that the the school DRC Debra Rodriguez inspected the sample tap at the well for SRC-AB. When the tap was turned on the water was thick, black and had an oily sheen. They had shut the well off and were having water delivered from Northwest Water Transport in Blodgett. The hauled water is from the City of Philomath. I spoke to the circuit rider and had them contact the school for assistance on remediating what appears to be an issue with iron bacteria. Diana reported this has occurred in the past year. The school had the pump pulled and cleaned and the problem was resolved until recently. I also spoke to Shawn Stevenson Region 2 Technical staff about the situation. He stated the system should have the inventory updated to reflect a new entry point for hauled water and discussed the hydrological features of the well. |
