| Details: | I called the operator (Lonny Sayles), to double-check that they were aware of the mcl exceedance for copper from their most recent round of L&C testing. Lonny had already received the L&C results, and is already following a relevant compliance plan to prevent future L&C exceedances. Lonny explained that the Copper exceedances in this system are likely a result of it switching to a new water source several years back. I recommended to Lonny that the system consider expediting plan-review & installation of the new corrosion control system to prevent long-term health effects from copper or a possible future Lead exceedance. Lonny asked if there are any new regulations preventing calcite from being used for C.C.; I said I would check and get back to him about that. |
