| Details: | Recipient of mail and resident for the drinking water system called me to discuss the yellow violation card for the OVS system from OHA DWS. I reviewed the violations and the remaining Boil notice. I reviewed the requirment for getting a negative samples with a residual chlorine of 0.2 ppm on record and using NSF60 chlorine and getting back to routine quarterly samples. We reviewed the contact report written by Sue Yellowtail R.E.H.S. on 5/21/25. No samples are recorded on OHA DWS since that conversation. I gave her contact info for RCAC and told her about Circut Rider that Sue had provided info to Grant. I helped her look at the PWS system website to familiarize herself with it and let her know she could have a lab come test the water this quarter if she was not comfortable doing it herself but to ask if one could bring a chlorine test kit with them to verify the residual chlorine to document on the lab slip. I also advised that they have a professional vendor assess the disinfection system for function/effectiveness since the follow up samples done have never been without coliform contamination. Also, Grant says today he is turning in a coliform sample and residual chlorine is written on lab slip. |
