| Details: | Spoke with Neil about the arsenic MCL detection. He said the filter media is about 10 years old and suspects it needs replacing. He is having the company that installed the treatment evaluate it and will keep me updated. The arsenic monitoring schedule has now increased to quarterly. UPDATE 8/12/25 Neil contacted me with the following update: After working with the system installer and some initial testing, the dosage of hypochlorite solution was increased to improve the iron oxidation in the treatment system. The filters proved to be working properly and were not in need of service at this time. On 8/6/2025 I submitted a water sample to Waterlab Corp. for Arsenic analysis. The results were well below the EPA limit of 0.010. WS to remain on quarterly monitoring for 4 quarters to determine RAA. |
