| Details: | Don has been sending updates on treatment and mitigation actions for the hotel. Coliform detections: The water system had 3 distribution and 2 source sample tests done for coliform. All 3 repeat/distribution samples were positive for total coliform. Source samples were absent for bacteria. Don is planning on a low dose chlorine flush through the 6,000 gallon holding tank. Follow up coliform samples to be collected week of July 28. Nitrate: Source (Well 3) nitrate measured at 44ppm. An additional permeate sample tested at 38ppm. Finished water tested at 2.31ppm. The RO unit appears to be having issues, so the system is blending more and relying on the deep basalt well that has lower nitrate levels. An engineering firm, AKC Engineers, has been hired to review the system. |
