| Details: | I contacted Mr. Esparza on 7/31/25 and again today 8/1/25 regarding the routine positive samples for E. Coli-coliform. I was initially contacted by the lab taking samples (Spring St Analytical- K Falls) indicating these on 7/31/25. I left a message with, and spoke directly with Ezparza today on correct repeat sampling with a triggered and also outlined this with the sampling lab. They should coordinate this process along with myself. The lab stated they may not be able to take the repeats until Monday, 8/4/25, and I was also assured by Ezparza that boil water notices were posted at all locations at the facility with bottles water the only actual useable source. I also updated Ezparza on the continuing process and I will be in contact with him and the lab over the next week to be sure correct sampling is performed. There is also an intent to shock at some point, but I asked they delay this until we get complete confirmation of samples before this process begins. I've also spoke with Russ Kazmierczak and Evan Hofeld (DWS) on this issue and am available for any consult. |
