Details: | The US Fish and Wildlife Service has request a plan review of new water treatment at their Hart Mountain Refuge in Eastern Oregon. As part of that process, the public water system population at the refuge was verified and determined to be the following: • Residential water system users– up to a maximum of 8 people (based 2024 conversations), • Regular water system users – up to a maximum of 8 people (based on 2024 conversations), • Transient water system users – a possible daily average population of 41 people (based on published 2017 refuge visitor information) Based on this information, the water system meets the federally recognized Transient, Non-Community (TNC) public water system classification and the online data profile will be updated. This information has been provided to the water system contacts. |
