| Details: | Contact operator regarding the nitrate sample submitted to the lab on 2/4/19 tested for nitrate at 8.74 mg/L. I discuss with her possible sources of nitrate and what could have changed since the last test. She states that she placed some planters near the well that had tomatoes. She used fertilized soil. She will remove these. After speaking with the operator I took a look at the property on Google Maps. I could view a large agricultural plot on her property. I called her back and she confirmed she had a large marijuana grow two years ago. I told her that is possible with all the rain this year that the amendments such as fertilizer applied has now migrated down to her groundwater source. | ||
