| Details: | Madras’ routine coliform sample collected 8/12 tested positive for total coliform (and negative/absent for E. coli). Within 24 hours Madras will need to take the following actions: 1) take three repeat samples per Madras’ sampling plan, and 2) take a triggered source (raw water) coliform sample from each source in use at the time of the positive. Also emailed PWS ID: 00501-DESCHUTES VALLEY WATER DIST and advised them to collect a triggered source (raw water) coliform sample at SRC-AA - OPAL SPRING. The schedule does not indicate that Deschutes Valley needs to sample other groundwater sources in use on 8/12, but I recommended that Deschutes Valley collect triggered source samples at all sources in use on 8/12. Beyond those sampling requirements no other actions are required. |
