| Details: | Emailed the operator a template for a Tier-1 public notice. This system exceeded the MCL for Lead on its last round of L&C sampling, and is required to post a Tier-1 public notice within 24 hours. I reminded the operator to verify that their Corrosion Control system is functioning, and to also be checking for Alkalinity when monitoring their WQP's. Update 8/19/2025: Forwarded the State DW program's Lead Exceedance Letter to the operator with instructions for ongoing Public Education and water testing. The system will be required to include details of the exceedance on the next water bill, distribute public education brochures/materials by 12/10/2025, submit a review and corrections of the corrosion control system by 12/31/2025, submit L&C samples from entry points by 3/31/2026, and perform WQP monitoring during two 6-month rounds of L&C testing in 2026. |
