In response to October through December 2018's high turbidity after the cartridge filter, leading to the 95% monthly value being over 1 NTU for those months, the water system has:
- met all turbidity MCLs, including the 95 % monthly value below 1 NTU for both January and February 2019
- continued to operate the cartridge filters with a low pressure differential across the units
- continued to keep the chlorine residual at the entry point above the 0.2 mg/L
- continued to indicate that the UV reactor was functioning properly during this time with a green indicator light on
- scheduled a tracer study of the newly constructed two 6500 gallon poly tanks with DWS circuit rider, for March 2019. This will allow a determination of contact time for 4-log viral CT determination
- taken monthly coliform samples during this period as required, all coliform absent
