| Details: | IOC-155 Alert Sodium levels at 34.1 mg/L. The operator was informed that there is currently no enforceable maximum contaminant level for sodium in drinking water in Oregon, so the system is not in violation. No action needed at this time. Next steps: The operator was reminded that for next year, the water system must disclose the sodium level to its customers in its annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This could be helpful for some customers, especially does on low sodium diets. These individuals can then factor the water’s sodium content into their total daily intake. |
