| Details: | This non-EPA system started accumulating violation points since DMCE began assigning them again to non-EPA systems. The database entry showed they were on surface water, but the coliform schedule was only quarterly (rather than monthly) and there was no requirement for a monthly SW treatment report. Then I noticed in past contact reports that they had drilled a well in 2010 but had not completed plan review, so the database did not show the new well. Because they are now on groundwater, I asked Rick Hallmark of Coos Health and Welfare to verify their source water status and whether the old source ("springs") has been disconnected. And to update the contact information as appropriate. The well can be entered into the database as "unapproved" because plan review was not completed. This would more accurately reflect the current water system. |
