| Details: | The deadline in the Bilateral Compliance Agreement for installing surface water treatment is this week, March 31, 2019. Daniel said they will not make that deadline. In fact, March 31 is their deadline for contractors to bid on the installation. Daniel recently met with an interested bidder. After the contract is awarded, the installation will occur as soon as the contractor's schedule allows. Daniel estimates it will take 1-2 weeks to install (they have to lay a concrete foundation for the slow sand filters, etc.). I encouraged Daniel to make sure the Water District has all the required supplies on hand to prevent other delays. He will consult with their engineer (Rob Henry at HBH) to make sure he has a complete list of the supplies needed and order any they lack. I will update Brad Daniels of the DWS enforcement staff; he will likely contact Bridge WD regarding the BCA and their enforcement status. | ||
