| Details: | I was able to contact Jeff on Monday 9/8/25 about the newest lead action level exceedance. Jeff completed an updated public notice. Public education has already been sent to parents and staff. Jeff is working the circuit rider to problem solve the issue. They are reviewing the chemical makeup of the orthophosphate they are currently using. The product currently in use also has some nitrate sequestering properties that may not be necessary for their system. The water system has an ion-exchange unit for nitrate treatment. Bottled water is provided to staff and students and has been the routine practice due to the aesthetic water quality. The system is on six months samples rounds (10 samples required) until the issue is resolved. |
