| Details: | I emailed the operator regarding the TC+ test result. They told me that they've had the system disinfected already and will take repeats in a few days after the chlorine has been given time to flush out. The operator had done this during last month's WQA (where they disinfected and then took repeat samples). I warned them last month after I was made aware and I warned the operator again that whenever you have an initial TC+ that the repeat samples need to be collected before any corrective action is undertaken so there shouldn't be any disinfection taking place before the repeat samples are collected. This is because the initial positive could be a false positive and the repeat samples are simply confirming the initial water quality. TC - Total Coliform WQA - Water Quality Alert |
