| Details: | Emailed to confirm the DRC person for this system. Level 1 investigation form received from Alison. Notified and sent a copy of well #2 analysis that was done in May, and provided options for the next steps at well #2. Suggested the system reach out to the Circuit Rider Program. Update from Josh Seerup, 4 p.m. 9/11/2025: Triggered source sample collected 9/10/2025 was positive for E. coli and total coliform, reconfirming that the well is contaminated with E. coli. Spoke with Alison and advised the system to collect five confirmation samples; however, because the well is known to be contaminated, this sampling will be unnecessary. Columbia County will follow up to retract guidance about need for confirmation sampling. |
