| Details: | DWS received a water quality complaint from a customer of Stayton's on the DWS phone duty line. Compliant is a customer's home water smells bad, has particulate matter clogging up sink aerators. DWS advised checking water softener or other under-sink treatment/filter units, inspecting faucets or home plumbing pipes and cleaning, replacing, and then flushing if needed. DWS also recommended finding a drinking water lab that accepts public samples and reaching out to the City of Stayton. DWS let the customer know that there are no water quality issues, violations, or alerts for City of Stayton. |
