| Details: | Madras’ routine coliform sample collected 9/9 tested positive for total coliform (and negative/absent for E. coli). Within 24 hours Madras will need to take the following actions: 1) take three repeat samples per Madras’ sampling plan, and 2) take a triggered source (raw water) coliform sample from each source in use at the time of the positive. Also emailed PWS ID: 00501-DESCHUTES VALLEY WATER DIST and advised them to collect a triggered source (raw water) coliform sample at SRC-AA - OPAL SPRING or common header, same as with Madras' positive sample in August. Beyond those sampling requirements no other actions are required. |
