| Details: | All three repeats TC+ following 9/10 routine positive. Triggered well sample absent. Received call from Susan that they are continuing to work on ants in reservoir #2. This is the probable cause since the original TC+ August 20. System will re-chlorinate and flush and resample. Discussed sealing all openings insects could be using to enter reservoir and using a pest company to kill or deter ants but only if chemical used is non toxic or they use a physical process so ants can not carry chemical into reservoir. System has had 2 confirmed coliforms within one month, but an obvious source has been found. Continue to rid reservoir of ants, chlorinate, flush and resample. Will need normal routine samples in October. |
