| Details: | Left a message for the Horning's Hideout business line stating that the routine coliform sample for this quarter came back as TC+. I instructed them to take 3 repeat samples and 2 triggered source samples (one at the well and one at the spring) ASAP. They will then need to follow up with 3 temporary routines in the month of October. Update: New operator, Nancy, called back and stated that the TC+ sample was taken at the wellhead. She also stated that well has been valved off and pump turned off since winter 2025 after discovering a break in that line. Operator continued to sample from wellhead because she was new and figured she was supposed to continue to sample there. The other routine sample was taken at a sink in the distribution. We will pursue invalidating the TC+ sample from the well and remove well as a source. Operator would like keep well as an emergency source, but understands that repairs would need to be made and sampling would need to be completed prior to actual use. Inventory update for new contact will be made in Survey 123. |
