| Details: | After several attempts and research, on 8/28/25 I was able to contact Ms. White at the contacts property. She would not communicate with me but an un-named person living there claimed to be the operator of the system. He wouldn't provide any personal info. I stated I simply wanted to inform the system that they were in priority non-compliance for missing samples at least back to 2022. He stated he was "an" operator and failed to acknowledge my intent. He also stated that over the past few years nearly all homes historically on this system had their own well and were no longer connected. I attempted to contact all homes but they were either not accessible, or they were not home. All homes except one (with its own well) appeared to be without children from my observations, my estimations were 1-2 persons per home. I subsequently contacted Brad Daniels and Suzanne Yellowtail (DWS/OHA) for assistance with this. Ms. Yellowtail assisted in researching wells on these properties and found that all but 3 had their own wells. I subsequently requested this system be inactivated based on having less than 4 connections (3), and population less than 10 (9 shown online). I assume the population may be as low as 6-8 but cannot verify at this time. I intend to follow up on this again and attempt to get a more accurate number for both connections and population. This deactivation ultimately is based on the information provided by the "operator" and Ruby White who offered no verbal correction to the information given, and the data of personal wells from OWRD. |
